Most small to medium jobs around the home do not need a professional builder to carry them out. With a few days training most household jobs can be achieved by the householder them selves. Although all our courses are open to both men and women we find this course is especially good for the ladies of the house. Listed below are some of the topics covered on this course. Our experts will always be on hand should you want some advice on other household projects.

• Basic electrics, wiring plugs, changing light fittings
• Basic plumbing, fitting taps, removing radiators, troubleshooting
• Selecting the correct drill bits and fixings for the job
• The correct use of  tools ( power and hand tools)
• Cut and prepare a variety of materials
• Erect selves, cupboards and flat packs
• Wall tiling
• Repair holes and cracks in various surfaces
• Making good after alterations
