This hands on course is designed to teach you the basic principles of brickwork. Although intensive we have made this course fun and included most bricklaying techniques. You will learn the following techniques.

• How to mix mortar
• Setting out jobs
• Gauge level and plumb your work
• Build corners
• Run bricks/blocks to a line
• Build wall using stretcher bond
• Build a retaining walls using
• Single and double walls, cavity walls
• Correct bonding methods
• Inserting D.P.C and lintels
• Joint finishes
